Jumping off a building only works after the first second because of acceleration.

If I remember my high school Physics correctly, the distance of drop in the first second is 16 feet, in the second second 32 feet for a combined total of 48 feet and there after the drop accelerates at a speed of 32 feet per second per second until due to air resistance a terminal acceleration is achieved. In the case of a human body - falling out of control that is reached at about 100 mph. I don't know how fast a controlled fall can go - because sky divers control their passage through the air creating airfoils with their bodies and certainly streamline thier bodies passage through the air, they perhaps could be travelling considerably faster than an out of controll fall.

Are you considering flinging your Savage off a cliff?

That is a tough way to keep the rubber side down but it does get it down for sure
